Custom Wedding Proposal
Charisse and William, I’m so glad you’re here.
It's an honor to be considered to photograph your intimate wedding in April. I can envision it now: a small and meaningful celebration with your immediate families surrounding you and celebrating your love. I look forward to telling an authentic story of it all.
Welcome
Introduction
For eight years, I have provided wedding photography founded on a seamless combination of candid photojournalism and magazine-worthy editorial work with an emphasis on truth, beauty, and people.
I value honest imagery, intentional design elements, and creating a customized experience for my clients rooted in creative expression, authenticity, and a timeless approach.
My clients know that their wedding is a beautiful representation of their lives coming together! They put their hearts into the decision-making and planning process and care deeply about the artistry involved in quality, enduring photography. They value their loved ones and want their guests to experience their wedding in a unique and thoughtful way.
A photojournalistic approach to your day that centers on your unique love, unposed moments, and an artistic eye for details.

"Kiyah is absolutely incredible! She captured our wedding day so perfectly with the most breath-taking photos."
She was incredibly laid-back, personable, and made everyone feel so at ease in front of her camera. I have recommended her to several friends and will continue to do so! - E& J 2019
I’m so excited that you’re ready to book! To secure your date, I require a non-refundable retainer equal to 50% of your collection total and a signed contract. I accept payment via credit card or bank transfer online through your client portal or via check mailed to my address.
The easiest way to answer this question is by saying I absolutely love my job as a photographer, and that love overflows into everything I do. My clients describe me as a peaceful presence on their wedding day. I always aim to bring calm and joy to my couples, I'm never shy about excitedly getting 'the shot,' and I love to celebrate right alongside you.
In working with me and my team, you can expect professionalism, creativity, laughter, and genuine care in serving you and your loved ones.
My photography style is a seamless combination of photojournalistic and editorial. I focus on a documentary approach for a majority of the day and then use creative and unique posing and directing during portraits. My goal is to create photographs that feel like you and that you will fondly look back on for years to come.
A few reasons why I love shooting with film:
1. Film produces timeless images with a look that won't change over time.
2. Film helps me to slow down as I shoot. I create images with more intention, thought, and creativity.
3. Film saves me time in editing as I don't have to sit in front my computer for hours to correct each image.
4. The colors that film produces are true to life. Greens are green, skin tones are accurate, golden light looks perfect.
On average, you can expect to receive 75 edited images per hour of coverage. The number depends on the amount of people, events, and details included in your day. I focus on quality over quantity, so you can be sure that you’ll have every image that tells the full story of your wedding. For engagement sessions, you can expect around 150 edited images.
Absolutely! Once you're officially booked, I will share with you my exclusive list of videographers, planners, makeup artists, and other vendors that I know, trust, and work well with to help you round out your perfect wedding team.
Rehearsal dinner coverage is one of the best parts of your photography experience. Whether you're planning a themed welcome party or an intimate dinner, it's a wonderful time to have additional coverage of your wedding weekend. This is the time where I get to meet your family and close friends in a laid-back setting and photograph all of you with the pre-wedding joy you have the day before. Adding this coverage to your collection makes your experience complete and so worthwhile.
If there are specific events or people involved in your day that I should be aware of, do let me know! Otherwise, I won’t need a shot list as I’m comfortable capturing all the traditional moments like the first kiss, first dance, etc. About a month before your wedding, I'll send you a questionnaire to fill out to help me learn those specific details included in your day.
If your wedding is within an hour of Atlanta or Washington DC, there are no added travel costs. For other destinations, I will provide a flat travel quote that includes all fees for flights, hotels, rental cars, food, and other expenses for myself and my team to get to your destination. I take care of booking everything on my end, but my clients do cover those costs in addition to their chosen package. I will provide a travel quote estimate with your contract and your travel fee will be invoiced about 2 months before your wedding date.
How to Book
I’m so excited about the opportunity to work with you!
After you take some time to review this proposal, our next step is a video call so we can meet face-to-face, answer any additional questions, and select your custom collection.
From there, I will send over your retainer invoice to pay along with a contract to review and sign. Then, you're officially booked!
If we’re a good fit, let’s keep the conversation going.
From Me to You
Thank you again so much for your inquiry. I’m truly honored that you’ve connected with my work enough to reach out about entrusting me to capture your memories! I look forward to meeting you and journeying with you toward your wedding day.
